TAR.......HEELS!

Tonight is the night. The greatest rivalry in college sports.  The Duke Blue Devils will be traveling the few miles down 15/501 to the Dean Dome to play my beloved Tar Heels at 9pm.  I will be in front of the TV...stressing out, screaming obscenities or cheering with love (depending on how the Heels are playing).

My husband will either be beside me doing the opposite of whatever I am doing or upstairs because we can't be in the same room.  That's because we are a house divided.  Let's just hope our marriage survives tomorrow (and then we'll have to do it all over again on March 3).

I'm nervous. The Heels are playing well.  The Dookies have struggled lately. But, when it comes to these two teams it doesn't matter.  It's always a good game.

Let's go Tar Heels!

Tar......Heels!

Found here
Today is the most wonderful day of the year. It's the beginning of basketball season.  Here's hoping that the boys in Carolina blue pull off a great season this year.

On the edge of my seat...

For those of you that love basketball, you understand what March can bring.  In my house, it brings a lot of yelling, chearing, squeezing of pillows, jumping up and down, tears, and frustration.  I'm sure my blood pressure rises quite a bit this month but I love it. As my husband said the other day "it's the best time of year where you don't get gifts."

As I'm writing this I am waiting for the last game before the Final Four to be played. It's the UNC/Kentucky game.  I just watched my second favorite team (Kansas) get beat by VCU...I'm in shock. I'm unable to move from the couch but somehow I need to refocus so that Carolina has my full attention.

Go Heels!
So, I hope all of our readers out there are enjoying their Sunday afternoon whether it's watching basketball or not.  But, if you happen to be one of those basketball fans, please cheer for the Tar Heels. :)  I'd appreciate it.
